Social media used for more than just keeping contact with family and friends. It can be used to make business connections, advertising, posting jobs, etc.

7.  Digital Economy: The digital age that we are now living in has ushered in a digital economy. This economy is also know as the Internet economy, new economy and/or web economy.

8. Coding: This term has different definitions. But in the 21st century coding is a computer language that has become a 21st century job skill. Coding is used in the building of websites and other computer programs. If you are having some troubling with coding, I would recommend that you read Coding All-In-One For Dummies.

9. E-Commerce: A business that is conducted electronically on the Internet is known e-commerce. Amazon and Shopify are two of the many examples of e-commerce. There are four types of models of e-commerce: B2C (Business to Consumer), B2B (Business to Business), C2C (Consumer to Consumer), and C2B (Consumer to Business).

10. Lifelong Learner: A person who is on a self-motivated pursuit of knowledge to better themselves either personally or professionally is described as a lifelong learner. No matter what we must never stop learning.

10. Future of Work. Jobs and industries are being transformed because of technology. This is known as the future of work. Work is not like it was generation or more ago. Jobs, careers and industries do come in go.

If I find more words you and I have that have not existed before, I will make another post about that. It is essential that we learn these words because we are living in a world that is changing in an accelerating rate.
