 It was a day I will never forget. In fact, it was a day the whole world never forgot.  It was so shocking that the internet crashed. On that day, Farrah Fawcett died after her battle with cancer. But nothing prepared me for the shock I was going to happen in for a few hours later. My mom was picking me up from the university library when she told me that Michael Jackson had a heart attack. At first, I thought it was a rumor since there were a lot of rumors about him anyway. By the time we got home, I turned on the TV and saw the horrible news. I remember dropping the remote control. My sister called and thought I was having a nervous breakdown. I remember going to the local mall that Saturday hearing his music in the hall and in some stores. FYE ran out of Michael Jackson's and his family's music. That Sunday was when the 2009 BET Awards were happening they had to switch things to focus on Michael Jackson. In a previous post, I discuss certain jargon that were probably have not existed a generation or more ago. There are words that have different meaning. I just have discovered more words during my readings and research since I am a lifelong learner. 1. Monetize: If you want to earn revenue your business and/or assets then you need to monetize . You could. Entrepreneurial You by Dorie Clark discusses how you can monetize with different income streams. 2. Micro Job: I have been doing Amazon Mechanical Turk or mturk.com  for over two years. I performed various small jobs the pay from a few cents to a few dollars. There are other websites like this such as fiverr.com  and Upwork.com  are examples that micro jobs can be found on your local community 3. Mindset: Rich

I discussed what the poor mindset is on a previous post. Now I am going to talk about the rich mindset. There are certain things that someone with a rich mindset has. This is a mindset that I'm trying to develop myself. 1. They make their money work for them. 2.When opportunity knocks, they answer. 3. They know the value of self education. Product of the Post Before I go I would like to tell you about a about a book that I have come to like very much. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill was originally published in 1937. However, I am showing you a version that is revised and updated for the 21st century. Becoming rich is not just how much money you have but it is all about your mindset.
